Dan O'Heath

Dan O’Heath, founder of Career Ventures, has nearly 25 years experience as a career consultant and coach.

Having worked for several major outplacement firms, he has assisted employees who were released by their employers. Dan has personally worked with thousands of individuals over that time period – advising and assisting them in finding new and challenging careers.

He also has extensive experience in providing direction to those considering retirement and moving into an active retirement lifestyle, often encompassing suitable career options, consistent with their experience and interests. He was Certified in this field more than ten years ago.

Certified in the Retirement Success Profile (RSP)which measures readiness to retire in 15 areas. The personal report is over 20 pages long and can be a useful tool in deciding "what next" as you move into retirement.

Certified in the field of Career Management by the International Association of Career Management, Dan also has a Master’s Degree and has worked in the field of human services. He completed graduate studies in Counseling Psychology at Loyola University of Chicago.

Dan is Certified in the Birkman Method of Assessment and can utilize this assessment tool in providing career direction and career development.
